Most of us are consumed with everything that is happening in the world, letting the struggle for survival, the tussle of hope, the vibrancy of change take a firm grip on us that we can’t strike an adequate connection with ourselves.
You can never shine trying to sit on someone’s sun and you can never figure out who you are if you are consumed by the moves of other people and weighed on the scale of comparison.
There is a lot of magical auras situated underneath your skin, screaming and yelling to burst forth but is silenced by the rims of survival.
We let ourselves sink into the threshold of survival that we are no longer living but surviving when there is more to life than the struggle for clout and power.
It is mandatory and of vital importance that we build a career, a means of livelihood, a business to aid survival but in the process of living, we should not be tangled around the fumes of surviving alone but living a life of quality.
I like to draw a firm line between living and surviving; living entails focusing and investing in activities that make you grow and increases achievement as you embrace life to the fullest, while survival is a denial of death and the quality of your journey is defined by the actions you choose to employ.
Do you want to live your best life or survive the process? This is a major question that we all need to ask ourselves.
I personally was surviving for a very long time, for me; it was all about school, work, sleep and recycle the same schedule on my plate every single day and that pattern of life was plain and detrimental. I knew I had to change that lifestyle to living a fulfilled and happier life.
We have been confiscated by society that we have to survive; living comes next after survival which is totally wrong. We have to be born to live and experience life to the fullness.
Life is not about acquiring influence, properties, building a successful career, series of promotions; there is more to living and having a good life.
These 10 tips set my life on the tracks of fullness, enabling me to live my best life of quality, change, transformation, and growth. And I am certain if you employ them into your life gradually, the level of your life will be branded.
I know this sounds a lot but you don’t have to feel overwhelmed by these steps. At the end of this article, I have attached a 30 day challenge you can embark on that is guaranteed to massively improve the quality of your life.
1. Focus On The Positive
It can be really daunting to jingle around obstacles, trials, and challenges and when you leverage on them, they weigh you down and cause mental stress.
You need to come to the understanding that things won’t always go as planned and it’s totally okay, it’s part of the adventure. The beauty of hard times becomes your tale to inspire others, they become the principle behind yourself worth, value, and your voice.
Once you replace negative thoughts with positive ones, you’ll start having positive results. Positive thinking is more than just a tagline, it changes the way we behave.
I firmly believe that when I am positive it not only makes me better, it also makes those around me. You decide where to place and invest your energy; instead of focusing on draining emotions, challenges and trials, focus on the end journey.
For instance, the beauty of a horizon lies at the peak of the mountain and the process of climbing is rigorous but to embrace the blissful sight, you have to endure and put up with strains until you get to the mountain top.
So is life, things won’t always go as planned, or in a directional role of success but the most important factor is progress; you are not stagnant, you are moving- be it easily, slowly or with restrictions, you are on the move to greater heights. So do not let the obstacles distract you, set your focus on the positive goal.
2. Be Authentic
The most vital and important way to cultivating and living your best life is being authentic; not shuffling your worth for others, not carving your life for others or diluting your magic to fit into the wants, expectations, opinions, and commendations of people. If you’re your authentic self, you have no competition.
Authenticity is shelving your value without a shift or influence, it is the courage to be yourself. And you attract the right things when you have a sense of who you are.
Authenticity is a positive magnet that we all must sharpen and forge into our lives. It outlines and traces your value and belief, it includes acceptance in the journey of transformation and change.
You have to learn to accommodate your fears, imperfections, and flaws, unique quirks that outline you for greatness and never try to alter them.
It takes courage to grow up and become who you really are. And the quality of your life is directly related to the authenticity of the dreams you choose to follow so stop comparing yourself to others, stop buying the shameful opinions of other people, feeling unworthy, letting criticism and negativity dominate and dilute your authenticity.
You are a rare shimmer of light and you emanate uniquely and differently so do not measure your glow to broken filters, don’t trade your authenticity for approval.
You have to eliminate every other form of insecurity lying beneath your skin, cultivate and build an immune fence to deteriorating utterances by protecting yourself from self-judgment or letting criticism drown you.
Authenticity is a vibrant shade you need to continually splatter in every corner of your life; it allures your unique touch, makes you stand out with confidence, comfort and can give you the best life experience. This isn’t a short process but a continual engagement that should be practiced and developed.
3. Journal
Journaling is one important tool to develop and align with your truth; consciously pouring out your thoughts on a blank page with no restrictions even when it makes no sense. It is a therapeutic form of communicating with your inner self.
‘’Writing in a journal reminds you of your goals and of your learning in life. It offers a place where you can hold a deliberate, thoughtful conversation with yourself.” – Robin S. Sharma
The most important relationship you will ever have is the relationship you groom and develop with yourself and this strong relationship can be developed through journaling.
Journaling changed my life! journaling daily has brought a lot of benefits into my life; firstly, it established a productive routine which is waking up every morning and writing, consulting my thoughts, expanding my vision, visualizing and amending my thoughts all with the stroke of ink and paper.
Journaling clear thoughts, it helps cleanse negativity when I am going through a hard time. Journaling is a sanctuary and safe place of unpacking all fumes of negativity, it enables me to free myself, think better, process my emotions, reduces stress, anxiety and then reinforce.
Journaling enhances your journey and the importance cannot be overemphasized. To embark on a vehement mission of greater self-love, and confidence this is recommended to living your best life.

Take the leap in your life and disconnect from limiting beliefs, filtered opinion of people, unhealthy relationship, toxic environment, unsuitable location rather build with people who honor your boundaries and respect your decisions.

The journey to development and growth can never be smooth; there will be roadblocks, bridges to climb, mountains to pull down with an uproar of a volcano, oceans to pull down tides so you have to come prepared and ready to face the challenges.
The lows and highs are what create the adventure. Things will go wrong, there will be a season of joy and grief, laughter and sorrow and sometimes all you have to do is live in accordance.

Mindfulness is dwelling on the present moment; we oftentimes soak our consciousness with the struggle and position for survival and limit the soulful connections. In this chaos raided in the world, we forget to value the littlest things happening at the moment.
The present moment is filled with joy and happiness; if you are attentive you will see it but our attentions have been seized. Mindfulness is not a difficult activity; we just need to remember to do it as it slips into the subconscious.
The best way to capture moments is to pay attention and in the moment of being sober, a lot is gathered and learned. One major way to practice mindfulness is meditation.
Meditation is an extremely important activity that helps us synchronize our mind and body in harmony; it fastens our inner connection and raids our body with peace.
We get too caught up in the busyness of the world that we lose connection with one another and ourselves but mindfulness through meditating and reflecting draws us closer.
Meditation isn’t trying to throw ourselves away and becoming something better, it’s about friending who we are already and opening the window of our mind, allowing light and new truth.
Our lives are sharpened by our mind, we become what we think so it is necessary that we are mindful of the thoughts we preserve.
7. Develop Productive Routines
Living your best life is appreciating and developing a life of quality and value. Having a productive morning and evening routine can help you to be more focused, less stressed and more successful. When you have a productive routine, it ensures that the really important things are handled.
We usually cannot control how our day unveils during the course of activities, so it is advisable that we incorporate the most important tasks, actions, and behaviors into your productive mornings and evening routines.
I developed the habits of attending to my healthy routines before I check on my emails and messages, this enables me to function effectively before the chaos and interruptions are ushered in.
If I don’t have breakfast in the morning, I’ll probably not have breakfast that day so having breakfast is an essential part of my morning routine that I indulge in before the major activity of the day.
